McCorrister Media

McCorrister Media began five years ago as a simple media company offering ad solutions and web development. After planning our own wedding, we decided to create a wedding website that was easy to navigate and included exhaustive resources for brides. Our simple side project began to attract hundreds upon hundreds of unique visitors and brides were using it all the time. The audience it was drawing also began to attract advertisers and without any purposeful effort the site took-off!

At this point we realized that there was great potential in what we were doing and began to focus more and more on our website. Over the past five years our site has evolved and changed into one of the most exhaustive, trafficked, and loved wedding resources in Canada.

The success in our website also brought upon the launch of a unique wedding magazine in May of 2009. After hearing complaints from those in the wedding industry about how print advertising wasn't working for them and realizing how much brides still loved looking through the glossy pages of magazines, McCorrister Media launched it's first local monthly magazine with a twist from what traditional bridal magazines were doing. The local focus and monthly distribution of our magazine immediately brought great results to those advertising and found great success among it's readers.

McCorrister Media has expanded it's wedding sites and magazines in to Alberta and is moving forward with further expansions across Canada. We are very excited to bring this model to fabulous new places!

McCorrister Media now focuses on marketing for the wedding industry, drawing upon our expertise and know-how in the wedding industry we are able to offer ad solutions for clients that really work! Our head office is located in the heart of Canada, Winnipeg, MB.
